General Information and Care: Platystele stenostachya âYellowâ is a beautiful miniature orchid species that make a gorgeous addition to a terrarium. This species stays very small, typically with leaves under 2â in length and even when it flowers, the flowers are typically only just barely beyond the leaves. The flowers on this species are small, at only about 2mm, but the vast number that emerge really make for a stunning show. Each flower is dark yellow and bright orange and this species flowers successively. Overall a very easy to grow species that can even tolerate some drying between waterings.
