General Information and Care: Lepanthes acarina is a beautiful orchid well suited to terrarium growth. It is a miniature species with leaves never getting much larger than ½". The flowers are also very small, at only about ⅛". They are white with purple in the center. Really quite breathtaking even though they are so small. This is an epiphytic species, so it will do best mounted. It should be noted that this species seems to appreciate a slight drying between waterings.
