General Information and Care: Hydrangea sp. is a wonderful vining species of terrarium plant that Glass Box Tropicals offer. This species has been floating around the dart frog hobby for a few years now, but has never been offered routinely. It is quite a nice vine, with beautiful leaves. Many people compare the leaves to a Ficus but they definitely are not the same. The stem of the plant and leaves tend to stay a bright green in a terrarium. The leaves emerge very small, but can grow up to about the size of a dime in ideal conditions. In our experience, this plant seems to enjoy medium to bright light and a decently high moisture level. Similar to many other vines, it will climb your hardscape or background. Though unlike some others, this species seems to readily branch and fill in areas quite nicely.
